The background of the button is pink and in black lettering it paraphrases one of Truman’s critiques of the United States Congress; “THE/WON’T DO/CONGRESS–/WON’T DO!” The back of the button has a blue ink stamp which reads, “734 BROADWAY / NEW YORK ?. N. Y.”
